Configure your ideal film
In addition to the classic semi-finished products such as sheets, rods and tubes, Angst+Pfister also offers a range of films. With a selection of the most important materials in this field, we can supply the right film for many applications.
Our films are available in various designs such as self-adhesive or etched (adhesive) on one side. Of course we also offer our cutting service for our films.
You can configure your desired dimensions individually with our configurator and have them cut to size accordingly.
In our film delivery program, we offer you the most different materials and qualities:
Polyethylene low density (PE-LD)
Polyethylene low density (PE-LD) films are characterized by their tough anti-adhesive surface and good chemical resistance. PE films are ideal as a base material for flat seals for various chemicals, pharmaceutical products and in the food industry.
Polyamide (PA)
Polyamide (PA) films offer high strength, impact strength, wear resistance and good sliding properties. Furthermore, polyamide offers a high mechanical damping capacity. PA films are universally applicable for sliding and wearing parts in rough environments such as rollers, gear wheels, slide bearings, guide sleeves, axial thrust washers, cams, spacers, stop buffers, as well as for electrical or thermal insulating parts.
Polyethylene terephthalate (PET)
Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) films offer you very good dielectric properties with high mechanical strength. PET-C is wear-resistant, hard and extremely dimensionally stable. Ideal for use as an electrical "polyester" insulating film, as a mould release film or sliding interlayer.
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)
PTFE films are characterized by outstanding chemical resistance, low coefficient of sliding friction and very good dielectric properties. PTFE is anti-adhesive and perfectly suitable for electrical insulation, flat seals and as sliding interlayers, but also as a sliding surface for expansion bearings, slides, funnels, packaging machines and much more. We offer PTFE films etched on one side; the etched side can be bonded with AGOMETP76 or ARALDIT adhesives, which you can also find in our range.
FEP (Tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene copolymer)
FEP (Tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene copolymer) is also a plastic from the fluoropolymer sector and offers similar properties to PTFE: anti-adhesive surface, outstanding chemical resistance, very good dielectric properties. FEP can be thermoformed and welded for thermoformed linings; welded special bags or electrical insulating sleeves. But also as laminating film for welding PTFE-impregnated glass fabrics.
